This dynamic piece repurposes recycled pillow covers, meticulously deconstructed and reassembled to create an intricate dance of chaotic patterns. The interplay of uneven textures and vibrant hues guides the eye through a mesmerizing journey of positive and negative spaces.

"Mid Century Maze" is a square yet powerful piece that captures the essence of mid-century design. Its bold colors and arbitrary shapes combine to create a maze-like effect, offering a dynamic visual experience. The quilt’s distinctive mid-century vibe adds a touch of retro sophistication, making it a standout piece in any space.

This piece tells the poignant story of a Holocaust survivor who tossed a postcard from a boxcar while being transported by the Nazis. The postcard conveyed messages of love and hope, along with specific directions for where the family should meet if the war ended and they survived. The actual card was ultimately found and shared with me by the family members during one of my workshops. This piece serves as a powerful symbol of enduring hope and the personal connections that persisted despite the horrors of the time.

A nuanced exploration of light and dark within a cohesive composition. Thread-wrapped appliqué pieces suggest an intertwined narrative that embraces both brightness and subtle shadows and the space in between.

This piece tells the poignant story of Guatemala's genocide, where many men were forcibly disappeared, leaving their families in perpetual mourning. The quilt features women depicted in their respective pouches, symbolizing their enduring grief and uncertainty. Alongside them, wrapped and tied pieces of cloth represent the lost individuals, creating a visual narrative of loss, remembrance, and the unresolved pain that continues to affect those left behind.

"16 Squared" offers a fresh perspective on the traditional 9 patch quilt, expanding it with a contemporary twist. This art quilt features Japanese design linen fabric, blending intricate patterns with solid blocks in a striking warm yellow and black color scheme. The combination is both eye-catching and sophisticated, making "16 Squared" a perfect addition to a modern space.

This piece features a whole cloth with vibrant concentric circles, some fully completed while others remain incomplete. Enhanced with hundreds of stitches, the design captures a sense of integration and movement, embodying both a joyful and slightly chaotic energy. The random French knots symbolize voyagers on a shared path, each contributing to the dynamic interplay of convergence and individual perspective.

"Alternative Directions" is an evocative assemblage of geometric shapes, both small and large, strategically placed in various orientations. This deliberate arrangement creates a sense of dynamic chaos, reflecting the unpredictability and multifaceted nature of life's journey. The quilt balances order and disorder, inviting the viewer to explore the tension between structure and spontaneity. Through its vibrant interplay of shapes and directions, "Alternative Directions" challenges the viewer to embrace the beauty in chaos and the potential for new paths and perspectives.

This textile artwork reimagines a traditional image of a geisha through abstraction and reconstruction. The original black-and-white composition has been transformed into a monochromatic centerpiece, framed by a vibrant red that creates a striking frame in which to hold the piece. Dynamic black couched lines extend beyond the frame, weaving in and out throughout the story.This piece merges tradition and abstraction, inviting the viewer to explore the interplay of boundaries and connection.
