PERIPHERAL WORKS

Peripheral works brings together works that exist outside my established series.

These pieces resist easy categorization, emerging from experimentation, intuition, or a moment of departure. Each stands alone, complete, resolved,

and intentionally unaligned.

STAND BY ME, 2025

24" x 30" (60cm x 76cm)

This work channels feeling as movement—color shifting, marks gathering and scattering, energy rising and dissolving. Saturated fields of magenta, violet, and chartreuse create a charged surface where circles drift, lines pulse, and textures collide.

STANDING AGAINST THE NOISE, 2025

32" x 36" (70cm x 81cm)

This work reflects the experience of being surrounded by constant movement and input — the pace of daily life, the pull of many directions at once. The black lines and patterns suggest that ongoing hum of activity, while the vertical bands of color offer a counterpoint.

INSIDE POLITICS 25, 2025

38" x 37.5" (96cm x 95cm)

Circa 65 is a reflection on time—both personal and collective. As I continue exploring life’s journeys through shapes, colors, and textures, this piece pauses to look inward. The palette is deeply nostalgic, echoing the hues of a world I once knew in the 1960s—a time of complexity yet perceiv

IT TAKES A VILLAGE, 2025

27.25" x 27.5" (69cm x 70cm)

This work reflects the quiet architecture of community. Every small triangle, scrap, and stitched line suggests a person inhabiting their own space — shaped by memory, origin, and experience. Some rise forward, some recede, some hold the corners.

XXXOPATION, 2025

40" x 37" (102cm x 94cm)

At the heart of UnspooleD lies a mandala-like form or abstract flower, composed of delicate long stitches radiating outward in fine, flowing lines. This intricate center draws the eye inward before releasing it into the surrounding space.

SYNCOPATION, 2025

 26" x 37" (66cm x 94cm)

This work explores the spaces that form between us — the lines we inherit, construct, and cross. Two fields of pattern sit side by side, each with its own rhythm, its own logic, its own community.

ENTWINED, 2025

24" x 29" (60cm x 75cm)

This piece balances intuitive gestures with disciplined stitching, letting color, texture, and line weave their own conversation. The controlled geometry holds space for the wild energy within it, while the more organic passages soften the rigidity of the grid.
